On Sunday 4th September, our inclusive Rugby team, The Eagles, joined several other clubs in Lucan where MU Barnhall hosted a fantastic opening season festival. The sun shone for our players, and they performed in style, showing some amazing teamwork and camaraderie. The Eagles played 4 games on the day, including one against MU Barnhall’s U18s team and were then treated to bun burgers and hot-dogs, followed by ice-cream. David McKay, the IRFU’s Diversity & Inclusion officer popped in to say hi, and we were all minded very well by the local community gardai who were delighted with the atmosphere.

Next week we are off to Navan, and then Westmanstown. The week after that we are thrilled to have the opportunity to play against London Irish at home in Kirwin Park.
